HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
GPS LOCATION SERVICES
The 100 Beach Challenge utilises a google maps platform that Shoalhaven Tourism has populated with pins for all our beach locations. For more information on google’s geotracking and location policies click here. Shoalhaven Tourism will view some of this location information and collate internal reports with no personal identifiers to understand where visitors are coming into the region. When you use Google services, we may collect and process information about your actual location. We use various technologies to determine location, including IP address, GPS, and other sensors that may, for example, provide Google with information on nearby devices, Wi-Fi access points and cell towers.
We use the Google Analytics products to help our businesses analyse the traffic to our website. We collect non-identifying information about you, on users movement through our site, including page views, time on page, and where they are visiting from. This information is used purely statistically and no identifiers are harvested.
