This beautiful native oasis is home to over 200 native plant species from all over Australia, occupying the grounds of Curtis Park in the township of Shoalhaven Heads. The garden is a peaceful place for a quiet wander and a relaxing picnic, with a childrens playground sitting on the opposite side of the park over the road. From concept to fundraising and the hours of physical work put in creating and maintaining the garden, Roger and his fellow volunteers have worked tirelessly bringing the Shoalhaven Heads Botanic Garden to life. The garden is a great visual reminder of what a community can do by working together for a greater cause.
