Bendalong on the South Coast is a beach lover's dream. You're sure to find your new favourite beach at this cute coastal town.

Bendalong is located half an hour north of Ulladulla and borders the scenic Conjola National Park. The village is set on a magnificent jutting section of coast known as Red Point (named by Captain Cook on his voyage) and has some of the finest beaches on the South Coast NSW. The sleepy township provides excellent surf beaches good for fishing and swimming. To the north of Bendalong and an easy walk along the beach is the monument to the wreck of the Walter Hood - a ship that went down in 1870. Heading back south sits Monument Beach, then the two small beaches - Flat Rock Beach and Dee Beach - just off North Bendalong. Washerwomans Beach is a long sweeping beach popular for families and "Boat Harbour" boasts a boat ramp just down from the Bendalong Tourist Park. The area around the boat ramp is famous locally for the large sting rays that come in close to shore to feed on the scraps thrown to them by the fishermen. On the headland, Shell Grit Beach is located between "the Reef" and Red Head - the two Points that make up the main headland of Bendalong. Swinging round and facing south is One Tree Beach and then next the long sweeping surf beach "Inyadda". There are so many beaches you will be sure to find one that suits your needs. Accommodation can be found at the Caravan Park, in cabins and in self contained holiday houses. For food and essentials there is a general store in the village.
