Pam Burridge Surf School
Learn to surf from a legend. Pam was the first woman in Australia to become a full-time professional surfer and has devoted herself to the sport. Pam Burridge Surf School prides itself on their fantastic coaches who have all the expert knowledge. Head out on the blue waters at Mollymook, Narrawallee or Bendalong, the three main beaches where Pam’s lessons occur. There is an extensive range of lessons from beginner group classes to advanced private tuition for both kids and adults.
Coastal Paddle Surf
Have a crew of friends who want to try something a little bit different? Give the SUP surfing classes with Coastal Paddle Surf a go. That’s right, learn how to ride the waves on top of a stand-up paddleboard. For groups of 4-8, you can book private lessons which will have you cutting waves like never before. It’s an enjoyable way of hitting the water and great for people who already have some basic surfing skills down pat.
Jervis Bay Surf School
Get the hang of riding those waves in pristine Jervis Bay. Jerry Brown grew up in the area, has over 28 years of experience in surfing and runs Jervis Bay Surf School. Jerry’s passion for the sport shines through in all of his lessons, designed to make you feel comfortable in the water from the beginning.
Mollymook Beach Surf School
This beach is a favourite surf spot for a reason! The water down at Mollymook usually provides ideal conditions for learners, making it easy to get the hang of things early on. Mollymook Beach Surf School runs lessons every day in a relaxed atmosphere. With everything supplied, all you have to bring is a sense of adventure and a fun attitude!

Currarong Surf School
Spend a day out in the sun with Currarong Surf School. Offering lessons that focus on simple, practical beginner’s tips, this school will make you feel safe and positive. Private lessons for all skill levels and group bookings are available and special classes for parties, schools, and corporate groups.
Lands Edge Surf School
Established twenty years ago at Seven Mile Beach, the Land’s Edge Surf School is one of the best surf schools on the eastern seaboard of Australia. Providing individuals, groups, young people, and families the opportunity to experience the thrill of riding waves, you will have a blast learning!
Culburra Beach Surf Bash
If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to surf, there’s nowhere better than the beautiful waters of the Shoalhaven. If you’re made on surfing, make sure to plan your visit to coincide with the Culburra Beach Surf Bash. The surf bash s a competition that’s running during the 2019 Burradise Festival in May. Come along to check out this fun two-day tournament, filled with amazing multicultural food, markets, arts, music and more.
