If Trevor doesn’t know it, it’s not worth knowing! The Kangaroo Valley Pioneer Village Museum really is a great place to explore, and it’s a gateway for some awesome walks around the valley. The grounds are home to original slab huts, 1800s buildings, beautiful gardens, historic exhibits and photographs, early settlers hut, pioneering farm equipment all demonstrate how early Australian settlers and pioneers lived, worked and played. Take a walk over the historic wooden suspension bridge, into the extensive bushwalking area overlooking the beautiful Kangaroo River, enjoy a picnic lunch or have a barbecue in pleasant surrounds. Kangaroo Valley and it’s village has lots of culture and history to explore, from galleries and cooking classes to canoeing and kayaking.
