It’s in the name, so you know it’s good. Walking through the unassuming shopfront doors of The Tea Club Nowra, you’ll be greeted by a green oasis on the other side of the counter. Home to a wholefoods menu, occasional live music and a sticky chai that’s well worth a visit. Sit back, enjoy a slow meal and take in the sounds of the garden.
The Lookout Cafe
Pair your morning tea ritual with an epic view at The Lookout Café. Perched high atop Cambewarra Mountain, this tea spot boasts 145kms of spectacular panoramic views. On a clear day, you can even see all the way out to the ocean! Sit on the deck overlooking the green, rolling hills of Kangaroo Valley with some scones, pastries and teapots. Or head inside to one of the tea rooms if the weather isn’t on your side for the day, there’s a warm fire in winter too. This is a great way to gather a group of friends together for a special occasion. Or, just simply catch up over some treats where nobody has to worry about catering! Available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, this has got to be one of the cutest and quaintest high teas ever. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported to an Alice in Wonderland style tea party with whimsical vibes galore! This Cambewarra highlight can host up to 60 people for an amazing high tea, just make sure to book in advance.
Blak Cede Gunyah Café and Shop
Set in the heart of Nowra’s CBD, Blak Cede Gunyah cafe is an Aboriginal women-led social and cultural enterprise which cultivates traditional bush foods from their community garden. The menu has been carefully curated to represent culture, home and healing, and includes a range of native teas, that pair perfectly with the native foods on the menu.
The Treehouse Cafe
At the base of giant tree, one street back from Ulladulla’s main drag you’ll find aptly named The Treehouse Cafe.
