Comedian and architecture enthusiast Tim Ross and architect Kerstin Thompson, designer of the award-wining Art Museum and The Bridge for Creative Learning, lead a weekend about design and the Australian traditions of architecture.
Your weekend begins with a guided tour of the Art Museum and The Bridge where Kerstin discusses how the existing landscape as well as future climatic conditions shaped her design of the new buildings. Afterwards, enjoy a three-course dinner catered by Executive Chef, Douglas Innes-Will and an informal in-conversation between Tim and Kerstin.
In the morning, there’s the opportunity to join a yoga class overlooking the Shoalhaven River before a continental breakfast. One of Bundanon’s knowledgeable guides will give a tour of the twentieth century cottages and the award-wining Arthur and Yvonne Boyd Education Centre before your weekend finishes with an afternoon at Bundnaon with Tim Ross. Factual and funny, in this one man show, Tim takes you on a hilarious, personal and poignant journey through the unique relationship with the Australian home.
Over the weekend, visit Bundanon’s Art Museum and the Homestead site in your free time.
The stay weekend will be fully catered for by award winning executive Chef Douglas Innes-Will, with a focus on fresh produce. All meals are included with the package, and include a wine and beer service at dinner. All dietaries can be accommodated for.
