An amateur catch and release fishing competition based on St George’s Basin, NSW. This is a friendly, community fishing competition, promoting catch and release.
What happens on the day?
Registration/Briefing: 5.30am – 6.30am, Sanctuary Point Boat Ramp.
Competition opens: 6:30 am
Competition close: 12:00 pm

Anglers make their way to Palm Beach Reserve and park their boats for presentation. If you are land-based fishing and driving to Palm Beach by car, please park up on the street to avoid disrupting the public with traffic in the carpark. BBQ and lunch

– Presentation from DPI on catch and release, Flathead population and fishing
– Merchandise available for sale
– Competition winners to be announced, prizes awarded
