This exhibition explores the way urban planners of the past shaped the places people live today through selected items from the historic Halloran Business Archive (1898 – 1953).
As well as reflecting on the history of urban planning and surveying in NSW, including Jervis Bay, it opens conversations about the issues surrounding housing and urban planning that are so significant in NSW right now.
The Jervis Bay Maritime Museum and Gallery acknowledges the traditional First Nations owners of the land on which estates were created, and the impact it had, and continues to have, on elders past, present, and emerging and their traditional lands.
