Research in health sciences has well documented the benefits of knowing how to raise your relaxation response in everyday life. If you have difficulty relaxing, can’t meditate, or simply would like to learn more this is a valuable class for you.
Benefits may include lowering blood pressure, reduced inflammatory responses, improved sleep patterns, calmer communication, mental clarity, a sense of improved coping in times of elevated stress, bereavement support, pain management, and general coping capacity. We will cover a broad range of purposes and there will be opportunities to identify what suits you as an individual. The classes are also accessible for all physical capacities.
Louise, your teacher, has been a trauma informed practitioner in mental health care and other allied health supports for over thirty years, is an educator, coach, counsellor, qualified yoga therapist, and has a broad variety of specialisations to support you and your family.
