You’ll be captivated by incredible views of the rolling green hills and lush escarpments as you cruise your way towards the coastline. Day 1

Journey Through Beautiful Kangaroo Valley

Take the scenic route and follow the lush tree-lined roads through this picturesque village. Your trip towards the beach starts in Kangaroo Valley, filled with a great range of outdoor activities, wonderful country pubs and a unique shopping trail waiting to be explored. Make sure to take a holiday snap in front of the famous Hampden Bridge or treat yourself at the Kangaroo Valley Fudge House and Ice Creamery.

Shop Till You Drop in Berry

This bustling heritage town is beautifully nestled beneath green rolling hills is the perfect place for all your shopping needs. Berry‘s main strip is filled with plentiful boutiques that are a welcoming change from your everyday high street shops. Peruse clothing and homewares at Cabana Jo’s & Moss Nest and then indulge your sweet tooth over at The Berry Tea Shop.

Escape to a Retro Airstream in Jervis Bay

Try something a little bit different and stay at in a super cool Airstream caravan, tucked away in the bush surrounding Jervis Bay. Day 2

Grab Breakfast at the Lookout Café

What’s not to love about sitting down for breakfast and looking out onto an incredible outlook of the Shoalhaven? You might even be lucky enough to say hello to the café’s friendly, resident Great Dane. Visit the Lookout Café, sip on a delicious coffee on the deck and soak up unrivalled views that stretch from Coolangatta in the north all the way to Pigeon House Mountain in the south.

Catch a Stunning Sunset over Seven Mile Beach

A trip to the Shoalhaven wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the beach. If you’ve brought your doggo on holiday with you, head to off-leash Seven Mile Beach, which is super pet friendly. Known for its magnificent sunrises and sunsets that will take your breath away and for being a hotspot for dolphin sightings, it’s the perfect place to watch the sun go down. Wine and Dine at the Heads Hotel

A stone’s throw from Seven Mile is the Shoalhaven Heads Hotel which boasts a relaxed and chilled dining atmosphere. The pub’s in-house restaurant, Hedy’s Bistro serves up our delicious local seafood and there are three different bars plus an outdoor beer garden where you can grab a yummy drink. Bring the doggos along too because the Heads Hotel is proudly pet friendly.
