Mollymook Beach, located in Shoalhaven, offers an idyllic blend of natural beauty and leisure.
Mollymook Beach is a captivating coastal gem nestled in New South Wales’ Shoalhaven. With its golden sands stretching over two kilometers and crystal-clear turquoise waters, this beach is a haven for beachgoers, surf enthusiasts, and those seeking tranquility.
The beach is located between Bannister’s Point in the north and the southern headland where the Mollymook golf club is located. Both ends of the beach are patrolled seasonally with the Mollymook Surf Club, established in 1933, being located on the southern end.
You can relax on the sand, enjoy beach fishing, or go diving and snorkeling around the headlands and central reef. You can also enjoy swimming in our beautiful natural rock pool which is located at the southern end of the beach. If it is your thing, you can learn to surf with Mollymook Beach Surf School or Pam Burridge Surf Schools. The grassy knoll just behind the beach is perfect for picnics with family and friends.
You can enjoy the summer carnivals which are a regular feature at Mollymook Beach, as are surfing events. Dolphins are frequent visitors and are always seen frolicking in the surf. Picturesque views can be enjoyed from the clubhouse, or from one of the cafes overlooking the beach.
