Steamers Beach in Booderee National Park is not for the faint-hearted. It is a lovely long walk through the bush, with a steep set of stairs to access the beach but you are well rewarded for your effort with the beauty of this area.
The beach is bordered by steep vegetated slopes rising 130 metres which makes you feel very secluded and a fantastic spot to take a picnic. Caution should be taken if you are planning to swim at Steamers Beach as it can be exposed to powerful surf and rips and currents may be present.
