The Gunyah at Paperbark Camp
Architect designed and built high off the ground to enjoy the sea breeze and a wonderful position amongst the tree tops , the Gunyah restaurant offers both camp and non-resident guests a unique space to dine. In the warmer months the sliding doors open up for outdoor dining on the veranda, providing a bushy backdrop to candlelit meals and to observe the goings on of the resident possums, sugar gliders and colourful bird life. A delicious bar menu is available from mid afternoon each day and the Sundowner deck is the perfect place to meet for a late afternoon drink, enjoy some local olives and house roasted nuts and watch the changing light of the bush as the sun disappears for the evening. In winter the campfires are burning and the room becomes a cosier space, with the lounges a perfect place to curl up on after dinner with a nightcap The Gunyah is also a beautifully romantic wedding venue and inspirational space for meetings and corporate retreats. The Gunyah welcomes a limited number of non-resident guests for breakfast and dinner, bookings are essential. Please call to make a reservation. The Gunyah is fully licensed and does not allow BYO.
