Warrain Beach runs for 3.7 kilometres from Culburra Beach village to Currarong and includes the mouth of Lake Wollumboola, a popular surf spot. It is also the home of Culburra Beach Surf Lifesaving Club and is patrolled in peak holiday times. On the northern end of the beach is Penguin Head which offers great fishing spots.
