White Sands Walk
This coastal walk allows you to explore along the western edges of Jervis Bay past several beautiful white sand locations. Stroll among the towering gum trees, along pristine beaches to spot dolphins and white bellied sea eagles as they patrol the shores. White Sands Walk starts at a boardwalk on the southern end of Nelsons Beach, just south of Vincentia, in Jervis Bay National Park. It meanders its way past Blenheim, Greenfields and Chinamans Beaches. The walk can be made shorter by stating at Blenheim or Greenfields Beach directly. Interpretive signs along the track point out significant features of the bay. The walk ends at the small village of Hyams Beach. At the end of the walk, you can either return the same way or make this into a circuit walk by taking the Scribbly Gum Track back to Greenfields Beach. Plan for an hour and a half return, but if you want to enjoy the scenery, have a swim, or stop for a picnic then do leave more time. Greenfields Beach also has barbecue and amenities. This walk is inside Jervis Bay National Park so is not dog friendly. There are good amenities at Blenheim, Greenfields and Hyams Beaches and barbecue areas are available at Blenheim and Greenfields picnic areas and a Cafe at Hyams Beach.
