Learn how to take your favourite elements from nature and turn them into a diptych – 2 canvases side by side.
You will also learn how to work with ink and other mediums to bring your artwork to life.
The end result will be a unique artwork which reflects your own style.
This workshop is for beginners and experienced artists who would like to paint loosely and explore free ways of representing and expressing landscapes.
We will use a variety of techniques and mediums including inks, acrylic, gouache and collage to represent elements in nature, land forms and features.
By the end of this workshop you will have 2 small canvases (diptych) and at least 4 other landscapes on watercolour paper. The different processes you explore will enable you to continue to practice different methods of abstraction with your smaller pieces.
The end results will give you insight into your unique personal style.
