The namesake of this beach is Dawsons Island, which is a rock platform that lies 100 metres offshore. The beach is accessible on foot from Pretty Beach (more than one hour’s walk) or by boat and forms part of the Pretty Beach to Pebbly Beach coastal walk in Murramarang National Park. This beach is one of the most isolated in the Shoalhaven, ensuring its beauty has been preserved through many generations.
Walawaani (welcome),
