Wine, dine and stay, all in one place at Silos Estate and Wileys Creek. This working vineyard is just a stone’s throw from Berry village and some of the winery’s buildings even date all the way back to 1870. It’s also been carbon neutral since 2010, and working hard towards being carbon negative. Visitors can have a tasting at the cellar door, enjoy a meal at the award-winning restaurant and then retire comfortably to the charming cottage accommodation. A must try while you’re here is the Wileys Creek Sparkling Shiraz, a delightfully sweet and crisp red with a dry finish. What we love most about Silos, though, is that this winery also provides a full-blown farmyard experience. The resident alpacas roam freely on the grounds and guests are more than welcome to feed these adorable animals when staying on site.
